About Me:: Since l976, I have been a member of The Asheville Garden Club with an interest in flower arranging for home pleasure. My husband and I have a small vegetable garden; in past years I enjoyed filling a freezer with the produce. I grew up on a farm in Kentucky as the youngest of ten children. We grew most of our food, had fruit trees, honey bees, and farm animals. I still love digging in the dirt!

Favorite Plants:: flowers: pink camellia, tulips, purple beautyberry,

garden vegetables: Pole beans, cucumbers, squash.

fruits: blueberries, figs

Garden as a hobby?: Yes
