About Me:: We bought a house about two years ago and for the first year I did well just to keep the beautiful garden it came with weeded. Now I'm letting the primroses win. Ugh. This year we've decided to start a vegetable garden, but who isnt'?

I was going for the fruit salad tree, which grows five kinds of fruit on one tree, but they were sold out. Also ordered 2 blueberry bushes, which will bear fruit next year, and a Paulownia tree, which blooms purple and has been known to grow up to 18 feet within one year. Gardenerschoice.com.

We have a couple of flower beds in the front and back yards, but Colleen recently had a friend come over and till so we could start a vegetable garden. She bought some plants from her school this week that we should be getting into the ground this weekend. It's exciting.
