Are you watering an area that is above where your tanks are located? Did you elevate the tanks on cinder blocks or brick/wooden foundation? My thought is that if I could get away with not having to use a pump, I certainly would do so. I have three of these tanks installed elevated at my house/barn and I do not use pumps.
I have installed at least 8 of these tanks and 55 gallon rain barrels and feel comfortable evaluating a site for use of tanks. If you would like me to do so, I would be happy to come and evaluate the use of them and how I would improve on it. Let me know if you have an interest. 828-980-3982
Do you conserve rain water? Do you have a way of capturing rain water at your community gardens? A 1000 sq. ft building will harvest 600 gallons of rain water during a 1 inch rainfall.
I sell 275 gallon rain water tanks that I have attached a garden hose fitting to. I would be interested in speaking with you if you have an interest in using rain water at your community gardens. Water pressure is achieved by elevating tank on cinder blocks or brick. I would be happy to come on site and make it work for your application. I also install such tanks and have a gutter man who will do any gutter work required. Beat the drought. 828-980-3982 Carolyn K. Elgin
