Front Yard, Finally

Well, we have lots of grass coming up in the front yard! I guess we did something right! Next we are going to tackle the back yard. First we have a lot of weeds back there, so I'm going to spray to kill them. Then we'll put down some lime, grass seed, and straw. I hope to start working on it over the weekend, if it doesn't rain or snow anymore!

Grass again

OK, last week we put down some lime, grass seed, and straw. If it doesn't rain we water, so hopefully we'll have a front yard of grass and not mud.

Now I'm trying to figure out what plants/flowers I can plant this spring that do not have a strong scent. I'm allergic to strong smelling flowers. Any suggestions to what I could plant? My husband wants to plant some fruit trees of some kind as well. We just have to decide what fruit and which ones do the best around here.
