You will probably see my offer of oak wood links on freecycle--some time soon. We...ok....American Tree Svc is taking down a 100 ft dead oak tree that looms over my home and my Toyota truck . I've given away a lot of firewood, tables, supplies etc. in the past through Asheville Freecycle. Thanks for your comments.

I believe I may have read your offer of oak wood--my sister in Gainesville, Fl is the one who introduced me to Free Cycle.

How did the "dig" go?

I have a couple of guys that are in their 20s who help me with installations. I couldn't take on some of the really hard work with out them. Glad to hear it went well in your yard. My husband Mark and I live at the end of a cul-de-sac in Muirfield subdivision. I noticed you are an Arden resident yourself.

I'm waiting a little longer to transplant some of my bigger plants. I'm wanting to wait for cool weather for some of the big trees/shrubs.
