- The Asheville Garden Club is a traditional club that meets the first Wednesday of the month March-December and is open to any adult interested in amateur gardening and flower arranging. We are a Founding Member of the Garden Club of North Carolina, sponsor scholarships, judge flower shows and care for several small public gardens. Our monthly programs are open to the public. - The Asheville Garden Club favors native plants and encourages natural landscaping incorporating water conservation and respect for topography. Many of our members also have traditional cutting gardens and are prize-winning arrangers.
