With over 30 years of growing experience, Norman Nichols knows what it takes to produce high quality Japanese Maples. Norman believes that the only high quality graft is a low side-graft, which eventually will become hard to identify as the plant ages. Hand-grafting thousands of Japanese maples each year, Norman insures that all scion wood is collected from outstanding specimen trees and is grafted onto self-grown high quality seedlings to create a beautiful masterpiece.
