Bareroot roses
I am very disappointed so far in my David Austen roses this season. Of the 3 I've planted, only 1 has sprouted foliage. I did everything right in terms of planting and watering. Well, Frank Dezzutto of the Rose Society warned me, but it was too late. I'd already ordered them. I'm thinking of taking this up with the David Austen company. Of course, they may leaf out yet.

My success with Austin roses has been mixed. I lost several I planted last summer, and others are giants this spring. The disappointments really ended my love affair with these. I just put 3 blooms from Queen of Sweden on my night stand and they are exquisite. Which ones did you get?
