I have a white wisteria - now four years old - gets 6 hours of sun a day and has never bloomed.
In the same bed I have black - eyed susans and firecracker solidago (goldenrod), which are always a joy to behold. What can be the reason why the wisteria doesnt bloom.?

Maybe the plant needs to mature. I planted lilacs that did not bloom until their eighth year. Now they bloom like crazy. I also have somewhat young wisteria that is not blooming.
Thanks - you give me faith that I shd hang in there and wait! -
Seeing flowering wisteria in the nurseries that in no ways can be mature made me wonder -and it's the same for lilacs - you see them flowering in the nurseries too - gotta wonder what they feed 'em?
