Rain Barrells
Is anyone using rain barrells? Recently bought one that collects water from the gutter downspout and a friend gave us a second one, which we are using for the overflow (se we have well over 100 gallons). My concern is I noticed that the water seems to go stagnant quite quickly - is there any natural additive that I could use that would prolong this stagnation? Since we have had a lot of rain in TN & NC lately - I haven't had to use that much from the barrells yet - but I am sure when it becomes more drought time of the year - I probably won't have this problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
