For the second year now, we have giant mushrooms that come up from under the asphalt driveway. The mushroom cracks the driveway and pushes up several inches over a diameter of a foot or more. It really makes a mess of the driveway. I have to remove the asphalt, dig out the mushroom, and patch the driveway. Then the mushrooms come back in another spot. I googled for a solution and some recommend a baking soda solution on the mushroom. Some recommend various nasty fungicides - Bayleton, which is available from Bayer, and dichloran (Bortran, Resisan, etc), which does not seem to be available - maybe too toxic for all but agribusiness to use.
Any help would be appreciated if you have had to deal with this type of mushroom
