Free California Poppy seeds!

Hey there, I have several small bags of seeds from the beautiful orange California poppies that grew in my yard this year. Let me know if you want some!

I'd LOVE some, Michael. So you have success just sowing them freely into the ground??
I've never grown them before but they are on my list of plants I want to start growing.

Right on. Remind me of your address in an email, and I'll send them along. And yes, I just broadcast the seeds over my prepared beds. Generally I add Earth Food compost and bone meal on top of the soil and till it in 6 inches deep. I let it settle for a few days, then sprinkle the seeds on the surface. They like cool, wet conditions for germinating.

I am at B.B. Barns, but the seeds are from my garden. I have them at home. Anyone who wants seeds should email me their address, and I'll get them out ASAP.

I would love some. I used to grow them easily in Durham. Here in Marshall they haven't been reliable - maybe I'll have more luck with your strain. How do I email you?

Hey everybody. Sorry I spaced out on getting these seeds sent, but in a way it is a positive turn of events as it has been colder than I like for sowing these seeds. February should be a good time.
