Garden Asheville

The name may be wrong, but unfortuntaly the reality is a dying plant, one of my favorite specimins. I have consulted several local nurseries to no true reason for a plant of this size dying. I had several over the couse of the years, but due to expansion they were removed. When we removed those plants, it seemed to have a borer in the center of the trunks. This one does not appear to have that, but it is dying off. The plant is probably 20 yrs. old. I would love to be able to save it. I have kept it watered this summer so I don't think it is lack of water.

BUT THIS RAIN HAS BEEN REALLY GREAT!!!

Try the master gardener hotline. In Buncombe County, it's 255-5522.
Good luck!
Thanks so much, I will call!

Are there ever any plans to have garden tours with the members? The photos are so intriguing.

Thanks again!
Is it a Lily of the Valley shrub? Google the name. There must be sites about how to care for it.
