Garden Asheville

Does anyone know anyplace around Asheville to buy Japanese look bamboo fencing? By Japanese I mean open fence kind of like square lattice. This is for a Japanese garden. I know about Haiku Bamboo Nursery. They sell raw bamboo or can custom build something. I wonder is there is something around here with fence sections already built. Here is a picture of something that would work.

Where did you find this image? Out of a catalog?
I don't know if anyone around here is doing this kind of thing, but it sure looks interesting.
The image came from http://www.bensonsimport.com/pages/wholesale/fencing/Page2.html. Benson's sells this fence at a good price but UPS shipping from L.A. is pretty steep. The shipping would be more than the cost of the fence, so I'm looking locally. Doing a Google for bamboo fence I found that most of the sellers are on the West Coast since the bamboo comes from Asia.
thats a nice looking fence! I would also be interested in knowing where something similar can be found locally.

Also has anyone been able to find regular square lattice in town? I've only been able to find the diamond pattern.
You cannot buy a bamboo fence like this locally. You can buy raw bamboo at Haiku Bamboo Nursery in Edneyville, near Hendersonville. Their web site is http://www.haikubamboonursery.com/. I made a bamboo fence with their bamboo poles. I bought coconut rope at Birdy Boredombusters http://www.birdyboredombusters.com/rope.html. The Japanese guy at Haiku said to use coconut rope to tie the bamboo poles in the fence. It was a fun project but ended up costing almost as much as ordering from Benson's Imports in LA and paying the exorbitant UPS shipping. Here's a photo of the fence.
